Biopharmaceutical Temperature Measurement Products

Ultra Electronics, Energy manufactures a full range of RTDs, thermocouples, and thermowells that have been designed to meet the environmental, performance, and surface finish requirements of the pharmaceutical and biotech markets.  The sensors typically feature enhanced performance specifications and 316L stainless steel materials.  They can also be electropolished to a Ra of 0.2 microns (8 microinches).  Permanently etched tagging information and calibration certificates are also available.

Thermowells can be specified as weld-in or clamp style, with all 316L stainless materials and electropolished finishes.  Weld-in thermowells can be supplied with material certifications and permanently marked “heat numbers”.

Autoclave RTDs

Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical industries.  Ultra Electronics, Energy Autoclave RTDs eliminate all of the problems associated with standard probes where the pressure and vacuum cycling of autoclaves forces moisture inside the probe, resulting in incorrect, low temperature readings and reduced life.

Our Autoclave RTDs are completely sealed.  As a result, the entire sensor assembly of the Ultra Electronics, Energy Autoclave RTD, including the probe and cables extending from the RTD, can be completely submerged in water without affecting accuracy or long-term stability.
