Ultra Electronics Nuclear Control Systems is once again celebrating the success of members of its team securing not one – but two – awards at the Nuclear Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) and Cogent Skills 2017 UK Nuclear Skills Awards last week.
The Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by Mocha, was awarded to Joseph Key who recently completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Manufacturing at Ultra Electronics and currently works as a Trainee Production Technician.
Taking the title of Small to Medium Enterprise Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by NIA, was Daniel King who completed an Electrical & Electronic Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship and currently works as a Trainee Technician at Ultra Electronics.
Both Joseph and Daniel were successful against strong competition from across the Nuclear industry including the finalists in their categories from BAE Systems Submarines, AWE PLC and Forth Engineering Ltd.
