Gaseous Monitor – Portable Model 400SBDyC

The Overhoff 400SDByC is a well established, high performance portable tritium in air survey meter. It offers excellent performance in sensitivity, stability, speed of response and gamma compensation and is particularly suited for low level monitoring in nuclear power stations and processing facilities.The 400 series has a variety of models depending upon application.

HTO discrimination is now possible with Model 400SBDγC-HTO. This is achieved by using a desiccant column resulting in measurement of HTO in the presence of other radioactive gases.

The 400 AC Model offers all features of the 400SDByC in addition to user ability to disable gamma compensation, inclusion of onboard rechargeable batteries and both manual and automatic calibration.

Features:

  • Sensitivity down to 74kBq/m3
  • Effective gamma compensation, even in substantial non uniform gamma fields
  • Rapid warm up takes place in less than 30 seconds and drift has been eliminated making manual zero adjustments unnecessary

Gaseous Monitor – Portable SP1400 Series

The SP1400 is an ultra sensitive portable tritium in air monitor particularly suited for area monitoring in processing facilities, power stations, fusion research facilities and wherever high sensitivity tritium monitoring is required.

Features:

  • Capable of measuring down to 37 kBq/m3 with its dual 1400 cc ionisation chambers
  • Free from long term drift as a result of using a highly stable electrometer design
  • Benefit of instantaneous warm up; settling to 37 kBq/m3 in under 60 seconds
  • Tritium specific measurement is performed in the presence of other radioactive (noble) gases and background gamma radiation

Noble Gas Monitor – CMS Noble Gas

The Noble Gas Monitor is an integrated solution for the measurement of the airborne concentration of radioactive (beta emitting) noble gases.

Key points of performance include:

  • Excellent MDL resulting from minimal detector response to external sources of gamma.- Low response to NORM such as radon and thoron.
  • Available in a fixed or transportable configuration.
  • CMS analysis algorithm provides a low stable measurement at background, but ensures a fast response to rising concentration levels.
  • Optional gamma dose-rate detector for dynamic gamma background compensation or dose rate measurement.

Iodine Monitor – CMS Iodine

The CMS Iodine is an advanced system for monitoring airborne concentration of radioiodine in the workplace and other areas of interest (stacks, cells and glove boxes).
