Professional personal dosimeter for measuring continuous and pulse X-Ray and Gamma Radiation in the energy range 20 keV – 10 MeV.

The PM1610/PM1610A dosimeters are recommended to protect professionals, who work with or around X-ray or gamma radioactive materials. The possible use areas include but not limited to: hospitals, mines, customs officers, nuclear stations personnel etc.. Currently, there are instruments in four colors: orange, grey, blue and black.

Personal dose tracker software

Personal Dose Tracker software, developed by the Polimaster company, enables serial connection up to 100 units of PM1610/PM1610A X-Ray and gamma radiation personal dosimeters. The software enables information transfer by USB-protocol to a personal computer to analyze, process, and generate corresponding databases in a control center or an expert center.

Gamma-neutron personal radiation detectors PM1703GN and PM1703GNA are designed to detect the slightest amounts of the gamma and neutron radiation emitting materials.

The instruments are equipped with a CsI(Tl) (for gamma detection) and a LiI(Eu) (for neutron detection) scintillation detectors to alert the user that the radiation levels have exceeded the preset threshold values.

Features of PM1703GN/GNA:

These dosimeters monitor and measure the personal dose equivalent Hp(10) and personal dose equivalent rate Hp(10) from both gamma and X-ray radiation.

Their ability to compensate for the energy variations in the range from 10 keV upto 20MeV allows these personal dosimeters to make extremely accurate measurements.

The dosimeters’ unique characteristics allow users to monitor personal irradiation levels from photon radiation sources, preventing overexposure. The instruments are highly sensitive and can register even the slightest changes in the natural background radiation.

The PM1703MO-1 and PM1703MO-2 (M-O1) instruments combine features of both Personal Radiation Detector (PRD) and Dosimeter in the one housing.

Each instrument is equipped with two detection modules: their highly sensitive CsI(Tl) scintillation detector allows for searching of the radioactive and nuclear materials and together with small-sized GM tube detector allows for measuring dose rate of gamma radiation in the wide energy range.
